AmorePacific Makeup Your Life campaign which began in 2008 has the purpose of cultivating female cancer patients’ confidence and will to be rehabilitated through taking care of their appearance.
Makeup Your Life campaign teaches know-how to take care of their appearance for makeup, skin care, hair styling to female cancer patients who go through losses of confidence due to the change of their appearances so that they overcome their loss of confidence while struggling with diseases and regain their inner beauty. The campaign has been hosted by AmorePacific, and sponsored by Korea Breast Cancer Foundation, Korean Breast Cancer Society and Korean Oncology Nursing Society. Especially, in this campaign, 250 Amore counselors and education consultants have participated and acted as a “Missionary for real beauty” for female cancer patients.
Since 2008, AmorePacific Makeup Your Life campaign has expanded twice due to the enthusiastic support of participating patients and hospitals; in 2009, it will be held for around 1,000 patients in Seoul and metropolitan area, Busan, Daegu, Kwangju and Daejeon for 31 times.
